Organize Your Community

Get the word out in your community about the need for age-appropriate, medically accurate sex education for young people.  Connecticut youth is at risk and the time to act is now.

Here’s what you can do!

  1. Write a Letter to the Editor  or an Op-Ed in your local newspaper telling your community why you support comprehensive sex education.

  2. Petition for young people’s right to real sex education. Download a petition and collect signatures.

  3. Hold a Community Forum.  Contact us and learn more about organizing one.

  4. Host a House Party.  Invite your friends, family and neighbors over to talk about sex education or have a sex education program and inform them about the Healthy Teens Act.  We can help you plan so contact us!

  5. Take Action! Show your support for medically accurate, comprehensive sex education.

  6. Contact your legislator! Urge them to support An Act Concerning Healthy Teens, HB 5591.  To find your legislator, click here.
